Laura Acuff is FME’s Operations Director. One of her passions is assuring customers have a “wow” experience. Laura has worked with FME for 9 years. Through her role as the Operations Director she has taken a very hands on approach to the many different positions within the company. With that experience she is able to consistently deliver exceptional customer service. Clients’ needs and issues change daily in the world of facility management, Laura prides herself on finding and solving those issues before the client even knows they exist.
Laura brings an ownership attitude to everything she peruses in life. While earning a BA in communications one of Laura’s first jobs was at a small startup business that is still successful today. This is where she got her first taste of having a concept for a business, putting a plan together, executing the steps and making it successful.
That experience set the stage for making her successful in her role at FME. One of the reasons she accepted the position at FME is she is very involved in the day-to-day decisions that impact the business and the planning for the future. “I love my role at FME, I get to be involved in every aspect of the business.”
Laura and her husband live on the north side of Evansville. They have two young children that keep them involved in everything from football, baseball and PTA to cheerleading and gymnastics. The family’s favorite spot to vacation is Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They vacation there every spring break. Whether it be personal or business, Laura’s motto is, “ try to always leave things better than when you found them.”
